General Rules

Below are the general rules and guidelines that we kindly ask you follow.

Backseat Moderation
Do not moderate users, we have mods for this ! If you see someone breaking the rules click the report button.


Harassment and Toxic Behavior
We want to keep the community fun and happy ! Because of this we ask that you respect your fellow members and think twice before provoking or insulting anyone. If you have a problem with someone, we ask that you try to kindly settle the matter via PM. If the matter cannot be settled there is always the option of blocking said user.

Remember : Treat people the way YOU want to be treated.

Note : If you're receiving harassing messages via PM please contact a staff member and provide the necessary information.
- Name of the user.
- A screenshot of the PM(s).
- Any other information we should know.

Seriously, don't post this stuff. We're a family friendly, safe for work forum, let's keep it that way.


Illegal Content
Illegal content that breaks Forumotion's terms is not allowed. When you break their terms, we're breaking them as well.

Consequences

You should notice above that each rule is color-coded to match the severity of the offence. Below you will find the consequences for each offence level.


Minor Offence
- You will receive up to three(3) reminders for each rule you break.
- If you exceed three(3) reminders you will be given a warning for each rule you break.
- If you exhaust your warning bar you will be banned from the forum for up to seven(7) days for each rule you break, up to a total of three(3) times.
- If you exhaust your three(3) seven(7) day ban periods, your account will be permanently banned.

Unique Cases
- If you're caught advertising via PM you will have your ability to send PMs revoked. Any abuse of the PM system will end in you losing your PM privileges !


Moderate Offence
- You will receive up to two(2) reminders for each rule you break.
- If you exceed two(2) reminders you will be given a warning for each rule you break.
- If you exhaust your warning bar you will be banned from the forum for up to seven(7) days for each rule you break, up to a total of three(3) times.
- If you exhaust your three(3) seven(7) day ban periods, your account will be permanently banned.


Serious Offence
- You will receive one(1) reminder for your first offence.
- If you ignore this reminder and still post damaging content on this forum you will be banned for up to seven(7) days, up to a total of three(3) times.
- If you exhaust your three(3) seven(7) day ban periods, your account will be permanently banned.

Notice

These rules are subject to change, so you're responsible for keeping up with any and all changes that are made. There will be a reply in this topic if any rules are modified, as to notify the community of these changes.
